Do you realize how good you feel when you spend time around something you love, and how irritated you become around what you hate? It is amazing how one's countenance can change with the phrase "I love you". However, these words are often abused because it lacks meaning from the source proclaiming them. This has led to heart break, resentment, anger, hatred, jealousy, and murder. In fact all evil can be traced to lack of love. If you know and understand love, you will have peace and no fear.

God is love 1st John 4:8. That is why love is soo powerful. All human beings agree we need love in our world. In other words, men agree we need God in our lives. That is why Jesus Christ said, we should love God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and with all our strength first. Then, like it, we should love our neighbor as ourselves, Mark 12:30-31. Since we know this, why are we not experiencing love? I think it is because we do not practice love daily.

Anytime you encounter a challenging situation, remember that love never runs out Eph3:14-21. When love starts depleting in you, please connnect with your Father in heaven as soon as possible.

We are to pursue love 1st Corinthians 14:1 Or as Jesus Christ taught us, seek first the Kingdom of God Matt 6:33. The pursuit for all other things before seeking love will only continue to generate pain we are unable to handle.

Please do well to read 1st Corinthians 13 and permit Holy Spirit to search your body, soul, and spirit. While thinking about the words from the passage, remember what you are reading is the Sword of the Spirit Eph 6:17, which is also living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of your soul and spirit, and of your joints and marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intent of your heart Heb 4:12. You may review the suggested prayer here.

It is courteous to be nice and it is liked. But bear in mind that, even if you sell all your goods to feed the poor, give your body to be burned, but have not love, it profits you nothing. Wow! I pray we do not allow our own perspective on what love is to deceive us.

To clarify our thinking, the definition of love is broken down for our understanding

1. Love suffers long.

2. Love is kind.

3. Love does not envy

4. Love does not parade itself

5. Love is not puffed up

6. love does not behave rudely

7. Love does not seek its own

8. Love is not provoked

9. Love thinks no evil

10. Love does not rejoice in iniquity

11. Love rejoices in the truth

12. Love bears all things

13. Love believes all things

14. Love hopes all things

15. Love endures all things

16. Love never fails.

I can imagine how wonderful it will be to experience this from someone everyday. However, it will have to begin with me/you, for someone to become influenced to love. Do not be like Cain who murdered his brother because he had no love 1st John 3:10-15.

Caution, you cannot do these by your will power. You need to ask God for forgiveness of your sins and accept the price Jesus Christ paid for you on the cross 1st John 4:10. Then when you are filled with His Holy Spirit, He will guide you into all this truth in love.

The next time either you say or someone says "I love you", you know what to do inorder to discern the truth.

Love and respect your father in heaven and let love govern your actions. Love is poured into us by God, so it is His love you are outreaching with. It is FREE!!.

Discussing love is a vast topic that cannot be exhausted in one post. Love is the Kingdom of God. Watch out for more!
